In this video performance, I contemplate the everyday life of mothers and its most mundane tasks. Interested in the ordinary expression of motherhood, I draw from my own experience to collect gestures and shapes that care work might take. Domestics scenes are staged in a playful way, however their exaggerated repetitions suggest an uneasiness and opens the questions of labour: How can something so common be so beautiful and also so hard? How can taking care of my daughter awaken so much love but also so much distress and boredom — sometimes in a span of a minute?
