In this  work ‘On Motherhood’ (working title), I enter a visual and written dialogue on the subject of motherhood with the curator and author Maren Lübbke-Tidow. In a ping-pong-like exchange, letters and images are sent, to which both respond with their own texts and (reference) images. Originally conceived as an analytical discourse, the project developed into a personal manifesto in which radical openness and vulnerability serve as tools for reflection. This exchange lends visual expression to the tension between the photographer‘s personal experience and artistic practice and sheds light on the structural challenges of motherhood in the context of art.
